This area will be near and (secretly) connected to the mega-dungeon on level 1. I discuss how the B/X (OSE) rules are designed to handle large encounters in lairs and the wilderness and then roll up the appropriate treasure and work out a general layout of the orc lair. This lair is perfect for a party of level 1 characters and has enough gold to level them up when they clear it.
