So technology at the gaming table consisted of a paper slider wheel. That was pretty advanced. Now phones, tablets, and laptops may all be used to assist in the tabletop rpg game experience. I've enjoyed running both D&D and Mutants and Masterminds off of my laptop. I loved it when Wizards of the Coast would allow you to by the PDF of their books along with the physical copy.
