2.8K views • 2 years ago • 2:00:07 Tonight we welcome Kade Wells to the show as we discuss the applications of D&D and other TTRPGs as educational tools to fuel student growth in the classroom. ~~Kade Wells Bio and Socials~~ Kade has been using Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), game theory, and product-based experiential learning in the classroom for over a decade. His research findings for student growth using D&D have been shared at conferences around the world. Kade has overseen the formation of a graduate-credit class that trains teachers how to play D&D. He plays D&D with his classes, and his hope is to help people understand the great power that D&D has in educational settings. kade.wells@buildingheroez.com YouTube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIXU_T8F8qtsz4q5M2b5SUQ ~~Wizards of the Coast D&D Education Resources~~ https://dnd.wizards.com/resources/educators 🔹 LAIR MAGAZINE & FOUNDRY | Reduce your prep time and run amazing games with Lair Magazine and our 5e and PF2 Foundry modules! https://www.patreon.com/thedmlair 🔹 THE SECRET ART OF GAME MASTERY | Pre-orders still available! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thedmlair/the-secret-art-of-game-mastery 🔹 THE DM LAIR STORE | Get 5e and PF2 GM resources for your games (Foundry modules, adventures, maps, puzzles, traps, monsters, encounters, and more) - https://thedmlair.com/ 🔹 LAIRS & LEGENDS | Over 700 pages of D&D 5e GM resources: adventures spanning levels 1 to 15, 100+ new monsters, encounters, puzzles, traps, villains, NPCs, maps, and more! - https://thedmlair.com/collections/lairs-legends 🔹 FREE 5E RESOURCES | Get free D&D 5e goodies emailed to you every week! - https://thedmlair.getresponsepages.com/ 🔹 DM LAIR DISCORD | Become a part of our awesome, welcoming community of game masters who encourage and help each other out! - https://discord.gg/thedmlair 🔹 ASK ME YOUR OWN QUESTIONS | https://forms.gle/zKXscNMuUdbj4EAo6 ~~2024 Convention Schedule~~ Please come up and say hi if you see me!
