Strong Start Agarin fell into a service to Asmodeus and a room full of cultists. Secrets - The trials between the devils is actually a struggle between Asmodeus and Mephistopheles. - Izakul doesn't work for Asmodeus but for Mephistopheles. - Mephistopheles conducts centuries-long experiments in Cania, a frozen wasteland and the 9th layer of hell. - Mephistopheles is trying to get the souls of the Cassalanters so he can add them to his stable of magical researchers. - M would be happy to have Arannis in his stable. - Coster Goldstrife is a rival of Izikul and works for Asmodeus. - Izikul doesn't actually want the souls of the children or the money. He wants the souls of the Cassalanters or he will accept Arannis. - Asmodeus wants the souls of the children. He prefers innocense over magical power. - Neither devil lord wants gold. WTF will they do with gold? - The Cassalanters want their children's souls back. They are willing to give up their own. They promised three souls. - Floxin is thinking the Casslanters are lame and maybe he can grab the stone and some money and get the hell out of town. - Tophat and Crowelle are working together. They work for Asmodeus and Coster Goldstrife. - Laerel the Open Lord will give the gold back to the people from whom it was taken. - Blackstaff wants the gold to bolster up the forces of Force Gray and the Gray Hands. Bad things are coming. - Jarlaxle wants to use the gold to become the secret lord of Lusken and perhaps overthrow the Xanathar. - The Cassalanters want the gold to buy back the souls of their children from Asmodeus.
