Your Players Are the Problem

5.5K views • 9 months ago • 5:58 If your D&D sessions keep falling flat, the problem might be your players. ⚔️ Lairs & Legends 3 - Three massive books filled with 5e GM resources! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thedmlair/lairs-and-legends-3?ref=8z0bp6 Many Dungeon Masters blame themselves when a D&D session isn’t fun, but the truth is that players contribute just as much to the quality of a tabletop RPG game as the GM does. In this video, I share real examples from running the exact same adventure for different groups at conventions—and how wildly different the results can be depending on player engagement, group energy, and table chemistry. We’ll talk about when introspection is important, when self-blame is misplaced, how problem players quietly drain games, and why great players are the real secret to amazing D&D sessions. If you’re a DM struggling with flat games, burnout, or confidence, this video will help you see the bigger picture. 👹 Get No Quarter alpha rules on the DM Lair Patreon.
