Unearthed Arcana Class Variant discussion: Part 1

If you do want to see that video (it has the same sped up issue as Fridays video), I'll post the link so you can check it out: https://youtu.be/4L0ffR-5KVg However, a number of people disagreed with my evaluation of the new UA class variants, one of them was Moonsilver who said he disagreed with so much of what I said, he was bothered by the video more than any other I had done, so I figured we should have a talk about it. I know he was not alone in that opinion, so I figured this may clarify some of my positions and provide a chance to challenge those perceptions, and maybe change my mind on some of them.
