We get a new ranger archetype, a complete reworking of the beast companion, and a over haul of the core character class from the players handbook. The WOTC tabletop rpg game design team really took their time, but have moved in the right direction when it comes to the ranger 5E DnD. This class is now a serious contender with the other classes and I think both player and Dungeon Master alike are going to be happy to these rangers going on adventures in their campaign worlds.
